Taking On Too Much
They say that we are never given more than we can handle. I do believe that, however to ensure that we are "handling" all that comes our way means that we must be assertive as well as strong enough to speak up when it becomes too much. Taking on more might mean you have to delegate more. It could mean letting go of responsibilities that are no longer in line with your goals so that you can focus on the ones that are aligned. Do not see that as a failure, but rather a strength as you are being true to you and your needs. Living an all-around fulfilling life and keeping your goals in balance, will help you to continue to grow.
It is hard for many of us to slow down, but it is vital! With the practice of Mindfulness, it teaches us just that, to slow down and enjoy the NOW, which is all we have. Do not take on what you do not have to...it is just that simple. I know it is easier said than done, but once you own that statement, you will gain that power over your mind.
